Thankful Thursday - Follow You

Luke 9:23-25 says: And He was saying to them all, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.


For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is the one who will save it.


"For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?"


I am thankful He made a way and desires me to follow after Him. When it hurts to pick up my cross to walk in obedience behind Him, He understands. He will carry me through it and empower me to walk every step - only if I put all of my trust in who He is. Who is HE?





I can because He is!


I will because He is!


I must because He is!


I love because He is!


I live because He is!


I fall down and get back up because He is!


I seek and keep seeking - because He is and I want to find Him!


I go where I don't often want to go - because He is!


I get on my knees because He is!


I cry out because He is!


I will not give up - because He is!


His mercies are new everyday and His grace is sufficient. Because He is! Thank You GOD!

I'm thankful because He is.


I am because He is!


What are you willing to give up or do because He is?



I want to take a minute and just thank every family who has a son or daughter, husband or wife who has or is defending this country. It is because of you that I am able to sit here freely today and I thank you for the safety we have! I pray we never take that or any of you for granted! Have a blessed Thursday!
